Discover the Paradise Beaches of the Costa Blanca

The Costa Blanca, literally translated as "White Coast", is a land of white beaches, blue Mediterranean waters and sunshine that attracts crowds of tourists from all over the world for most of the year. Among the region's many attractions, the beaches certainly occupy one of the most important places.



Playa de Mil Palmeras in Mil Palmeras

Playa de Mil Palmeras, located at the southern end of the Costa Blanca, is located at the mouth of the Cañada de Matamoros River. It is a sandy beach in the municipality of Orihuela, its length is 546 meters and its width is 58 meters. Here you can swim, sip coffee in the chiringuitos, stroll along the wooden promenade or play volleyball. The white sand and blue sea provide the perfect backdrop for beautiful photos. It's a true paradise for beach lovers.



Beach de la Mata in Torrevieja

Torrevieja is a town located about 40 km south of Alicante, whose Beach de La Mata is a lively stretch of coastline. It is one of the city's longest beaches and can be walked all the way to the neighboring town, Guardamar. It owes its popularity to its size, but also to its quality. Its fine sand, clear water and a promenade with cafes, restaurants are only part of the charms of this beach of about 3 km in length. It is also a great place for water sports such as surfing. Playa de La Mata is ideal for strollers who can enjoy the beautiful views of the coast, or for those who simply want to relax and enjoy a moment of relaxation on the beach.



La Zenia Beach in Orihuela Costa

Also known as Playa Cala Bosque, this is one of the most charming beaches on the Orihuela Costa. With fine sand and crystalline waters, it attracts numerous tourists. Thanks to its expansive area, it is an excellent place for various sports both on the beach and in the water. In the vicinity of Playa La Zenia there are numerous amenities, such as bars, restaurants, bus stops, special places adapted for the disabled and zones recreational activities for children. Every year, for many years now, on December 25, a joyous holiday party is held on this beach, during which the beach is filled with people dressed as Santa Claus and other Christmas characters. Accompanied by live music, everyone grills the delicacies they've brought, and the party lasts from early morning until late in the evening.



Beach del Tamarit in Santa Pola

Located just south of Santa Pola, Beach del Tamarit is an oasis of tranquility on the Costa Blanca. Surrounded by dunes and vegetation, it offers ideal conditions for relaxing on the sandy shore while providing breathtaking scenery. It is a place that allows those who want to escape the crowds, get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and sink in harmony with nature.



Urbanova Beach in Alicante

Alicante is very popular among tourists for its care and hospitality. The same concerns Playa Urbanova, located about 5 km from the city center. On the 1.6-kilometer-long beach, you can enjoy the sandy shore, blue sea and views of the Alicante skyline. There are beach volleyball courts, children's playgrounds and many other attractions. Restaurants and beach bars await visitors along the promenade. The beach is also wheelchair accessible.



San Juan Beach in Alicante

Located 12 kilometers from the center of Alicante, Playa San Juan is a seven-kilometer stretch of coastline with a beautiful promenade, restaurants and bars. Stretching from the fishing village of El Campello to the rocky cape of Cabo de las Huertas, the beach boasts a high level of water clarity, regularly awarded the Blue Flag by the European Union. On the beach you'll find lounging areas at beach bars, showers, toilets and opportunities for active activities such as playing beach volleyball or using the water sports center.



Playa de Poniente in Benidorm

Benidorm, known for its skyscrapers, also offers three sandy beaches where it's not easy to find a spot in high season. For those looking for tranquility, Playa de Poniente is the ideal spot. Unlike the more crowded Playa de Levante beach, here there is an atmosphere of quiet and relaxation. The beach is clean and well-maintained, as evidenced by its regular Blue Flag designation. Given the water temperatures, it is considered that the bathing season in Benidorm begins at the end of May and lasts until November.



Beach del Albir in Altea

Beach del Albir is a rocky oasis of tranquility, located adjacent to the picturesque town of Altea, known as the "White City". Its length of 500 meters and width of 100 meters create excellent conditions for those seeking privacy. The high quality of the water is evidenced by the Blue Flag awarded here every year. Rich underwater life, including fish, octopus and rare species of crustaceans, awaits discovery by snorkeling enthusiasts. What makes it it's the perfect place to relax in harmony with nature.



La Fossa beach in Calpe

Calpe is a popular vacation destination located north of Benidorm. The picturesque old town, harbor, seaside promenade and 11-kilometer coastline with wide beaches and small bays attract tourists. There are two large sandy beaches to choose from, one of which is Playa la Fossa, where fans of sporting activities such as skiing will actively relax water or surfing, but also amateurs of deck chairs and umbrellas.
