Lovers of Mediterranean cuisine and Spanish flavors have a reason to celebrate! From Tuesday, October 13, through Sunday, October 18, 2026, Torrevieja and La Mata will host a unique culinary event—The Paella Route / La Ruta del Arroz. This is the perfect opportunity to embark on a flavorful journey through the best local restaurants, discovering both traditional and creative variations of rice dishes.

Every participant on the trail can try a specially prepared rice dish along with a drink for just 9 €.
The event also has a competitive element:
