In April of this year, an important meeting took place between Joanna Dressler, a reporter for the Interia portal, and the editor of the Polska Costa newspaper. The topic of conversation was the increasing number of Poles who not only visit Spain as tourists, but also decide to invest or move there permanently.
Both sides touched on the increase in the number of emigrants from Poland to Spain, noting the dynamic development of this trend in recent years. One of the issues discussed at the meeting was understanding the motivations driving the emigrants. It was felt by the editors of the Polska Costa newspaper that in addition to traditional reasons, such as better conditions life or climate, the professional and business opportunities offered by the Spanish market are increasingly decisive, as well as having a second home in case of threats Poland might face.
The value of this meeting lies not only in the exchange of information, but also in identifying new migration trends and understanding the needs and expectations of Poles on the emigration route to Spain.
An article is expected to be published soon to more fully reflect the discussions and conclusions of this constructive meeting.
