The Peix de Santa Pola fish will again be a star at the upcoming Alicante Gastronómica 2024. From September 27 to 30, IFA visitors will have the chance to discover a wealth of local flavors through culinary demonstrations and tastings. Among the key events will be two culinary demonstrations organized by Paco Baile Restaurant and the Brotherhood of Fishermen, including rice-based dishes and fideuà from Peix de Santa Pola. In addition, rice dish master Emilia Belmonte will receive a special award for her contributions to the kitchen.
On Friday, September 27, Paco Baile restaurant will present a demonstration of rice preparation with a vegetables and local fish, and on Saturday there will be a festive tribute to Emilia Belmonte. Sunday will see a demonstration of fideuà preparation from Peix de Santa Pola, and on Monday, chef Iván Biedma will close the fair with a demonstration of aguachile with pitaya and fish. There will also be a salt tasting from Salinas Bras del Port, which will highlight the culinary journey.
The Alicante Gastronómica 2024 fair is not only about Mediterranean cuisine, but also unique workshops, competitions and demonstrations by masters of the culinary arts. The event brings together hundreds of experts and enthusiasts from around the world, making it a must-see for lovers of good food.
