Torrevieja once again transforms into the culinary capital of the Costa Blanca! From November 6 to 16, 2025, the city will once more fill with the clatter of plates, the aroma of spices, and the cheerful buzz of conversations over wine—all thanks to the twelfth edition of the "Nos vamos de tapas" festival.

It’s one of the most beloved gastronomic events in the region, attracting locals, tourists, and food lovers from all over Spain every year. The idea is simple yet brilliant: a tapa + a drink for 4 euros. For this price, you can enjoy signature mini dishes created by the best restaurants and bars in Torrevieja and La Mata—ranging from traditional Spanish bites to modern, creative fusion cuisine.

The Taste of Tradition and Innovation

Each venue presents two proposals:

  • Traditional tapa - inspired by local recipes and the classics of Spanish taverns.
  • Innovative tapa - daring combinations of flavors, textures, and inspirations from around the world.

On a single table you might find salmorejo from Córdoba, croquette with Mallorcan sobrasada, a burger with smoked bacon, or cod carpaccio, while next to it await sea balls with octopus, grilled cuttlefish with pistachio dust, or a samosa filled with beef cheeks in wine. It’s a culinary journey that unites Mediterranean character, the craftsmanship of local chefs, and pure creative flair.

A Week Full of Flavor

The festival is divided into two tasting weekends:

  • November 6-9
  • and November 13-16

Participants can stroll from bar to bar, collecting stamps and discovering new favorite spots. For many, it’s not just a culinary adventure, but also a way to rediscover the city—wandering between the port, the promenade, and the lively old streets.

Torrevieja - A City That Tastes Good

"Nos vamos de tapas" is more than a food competition—it’s a celebration of local identity and the joy of sharing meals together. The event is supported by the Ayuntamiento de Torrevieja, Turisme Comunitat Valenciana, Mahou, Costa Blanca, and local gastronomic associations.
