Polish emotions on the asphalts of Andalusia! Adrian Rzeznik sets out to conquer Cordoba
As early as mid-April, the roads around historic Cordoba will be filled with the roar of engines and the smell of burning rubber. Rally Andalucía - Sierra Morena, the inaugural round of the European Rally Championship (FIA ERC), will see a Polish crew in the strongest class. the 19-year-old Adrian Rzeznik and his pilot Kamil Kozdroń are challenging the European leaders.
Andalusia, which we associate mainly with sun and leisure, will become the capital of European motorsport for a few days. This year's rally (April 17-19) is not only a sporting spectacle, but also a great Polish hope. Our duo will start in a Skoda Fabia RS Rally2 - a top-of-the-line car that, in the hands of young talent, can cause quite a few surprises.
Return to "second home"
For the crew, the start in the Cordoba area is not the first time. A year ago, it was here that Adrian Rzeznik made his debut on an asphalt surface, taking a sensational second place in his class.
We more or less know what we will be up against, although the routes are only partially repeated. It's a very enjoyable and spectacular rally, although it's certainly not one of the easy ones - addresses Adrian Rzeznik.
The pilot, Kamil Kozdroń, who calls Andalusia his "second home," takes an even more personal approach to the start. His wife hails from the region, which guarantees the crew a powerful cheer from the local Spanish family on the special stages.
13 episodes and 200 kilometers of combat Competitors will face a grueling distance of more than 200 kilometers, divided into 13 special stages. The competition will begin with a spectacular short "oesse" in the heart of Cordoba. This is an ideal opportunity for Poles living in Spain to appear on the route with white and red flags.

Support and ambition
The start in the top Rally2 category is a milestone in the 19-year-old Butcher's career. The project is supported by Nivette Fleet Management, BERG Investments and Pirelli, among others. After a successful performance in the winter Arctic Rally, the Spanish asphalt will be a real test of form before the rest of the 2026 season.
