Networking Event on the Costa Blanca
On September 19, 2026, the Club Náutico Campoamor on the Orihuela Costa hosted a gathering titled “Women for Women on the Costa Blanca” with “WFS Ladies Katowice.” About 30 Polish women attended, including a group of nine who had traveled from Poland specifically for this event.
The main organizer was Renata Byczkowska—the founder and creator of the “Women for Women on the Costa Blanca” initiative. She has been organizing regular meetings for entrepreneurial women since October 2024, and the community centered around them continues to grow. Renata organized two conferences for Polish women: on October 4, 2025, at the Las Ramblas Golf Club in Orihuela Costa, and on March 21, 2026, in Málaga.
She organized the event together with Ewelina Niewiarowska—a mentor from Katowice affiliated with Power Akademia and WFS Ladies Katowice. Ewelina arrived with eight women from Poland. The program included presentations, networking, and a group lunch overlooking the marina.
The meeting turned out to be more than just an exchange of business cards. We talked about work, experiences, professional growth, and opportunities for collaboration, but above all, we got to know the women behind the companies and projects. Not every conversation has to lead immediately to a joint venture. Sometimes its greatest value lies in the inspiration, a different perspective, or a connection that may prove important in the future.
I was particularly impressed by Ewelina Niewiarowska’s presentation on how the brain works, emotions, and different personality types. I found it important to realize that a good team isn’t made up solely of people who are alike. We achieve the best results when we’re able to leverage the strengths of different personalities.
I know this from personal experience. I work alongside my husband: he handles the paperwork and formalities, while I deal directly with clients. We have different roles, which is why we complement each other well.
The biggest surprise was the atmosphere of the event. Looking at the women gathered there, I thought we were forming a “Slavic circle.” Don’t worry—there were no spells or dances under the full moon. Instead, there were conversations, knowledge, kindness, and the energy that comes from people coming together who truly want to listen to one another.
That image has stayed with me as a symbol of female solidarity. Today, we run businesses, build careers, and live in different countries, but the need for conversation, understanding, and mutual support remains the same.
The event showed that it is possible to grow one’s own business without unnecessary competition. One woman’s success does not take away opportunities from others—it can inspire, open doors, and lead to new relationships.
The “Women for Women on the Costa Blanca” initiative deserves its own presentation, ideally given by Renata Byczkowska herself. For me, the meeting was proof that Polish women living in Spain and women active in Poland can find common ground. Sometimes, all it takes is one conversation for something bigger to begin.
